myRSS Reader

I read a lot of RSS feeds, and usually end up doing things with them.
I’ve been a big fan of Vienna for Mac. It’s free, and it does many things right.
I’ve tried Google Reader, and like some features a lot. Other features drive me up a wall.
Now I can and will try NewsFire, for free. David, thank your gut for me, for deciding to release this for free.

I like Vienna because I like to deal with my RSS feeds like I deal with email. With email, I instantly classify something as a) to read now, b) to read soon, c) to read much later/to save for much later. I like handling RSS in Vienna the same way. I like to read what I am going to read article by article. Sometimes, an article needs more attention than what I can give it at the time, so I keep it unread, and continue to read/mark as read the rest. Then, if I want to really keep it, I flag it.
In google reader, I simply find it a pain to do the same thing. First, I don’t like dealing with tagged folders, because I don’t like the 1.5/2 second pause before the articles are displayed (I’m picky, what can I say). And then, as far as “to read soon”, it is hard going through the list and keeping some read while marking as-read 98% of the others. (I won’t mention how I feel about importing opml files in google reader)
